Program Plan + Milestones.

The “Behind Frenemy Lines: Changing the Perception” Program is based on Dr. Tichenor’s book, “Behind Frenemy Lines. Rising Above Female Rivalry To Be Unstoppable Together” released by James Morgan Publishing, 2021. Program Milestones are taken directly from the book sections and each chapter has 5-7 interactive questions.

  • The Opposition. Understand what female rivalry looks like, what it stems from, and what the personas and stereotypes of this behavior are.

  • The War. Signs to know if you’re dealing with a vicious-vixen or bolshie-bully-boss (at work), what happens when you experience female rivalry, and all the feels (emotions you personally experience) when you encounter this behavior.

  • The Victory. Finding your voice, addressing female rivalry to stop competing with other women, transition from a place of distrust and envy, regain focus on YOU and your own objectives, finding forgiveness, become stronger and more confident in recognizing the strength in having a powerful sisterhood.

Dr. Amber Tichenor has presented twice at our National Charity League meetings. This is a charity geared towards mothers and daughters working together to serve our community. Her message is always spot on and rapidly grabbed the attention of the girls, had them sharing stories and laughing, and had them leaving with a bunch of great topics to partner with their mom and friends with. The girls could clearly see that they are never alone in their feelings, experiences, and that they always have someone who has gone through exactly what they have. Overall, her ability to engage the audience, add value, and empower all of us to be the best version of ourselves truly make Dr. Tichenor a true gift!

I had the pleasure of hosting Amber to be a speaker for a weekly digital conversation series for a women’s community called Parlay House. She was super professional, warm, kind, and so fun to work with! She has amazing information and insights to share about female rivalry and doesn’t mind opening up about her personal experiences as well. She is a generous and brilliant human and I recommend anyone who has the chance, to collaborate with her!

— Arielle Fuller, Parlay House

“Your strength is incredible. Listening to your story and your beliefs give me hope. Because of you, I now know everything will be ok and everything will happen the way it’s meant to be.”

— H.G.L.R., workshop participant

“I admire all of the work you have done and the energy you have put into what you do. This weekend let me know I am not alone, I can be a better me, but I am going to celebrate who I am today.”

— H.G.L.R., workshop participant

Who, is Dr. Amber Tichenor?

I have a PhD in Industrial/ Organizational (I/O) Psychology and wrote my dissertation on “Rivalry Between Women in the Working Environment.”

Based on my research of literally hundreds of interviews from women of all walks of life, sharing their experiences with me… I thought I knew everything there was to know about female rivalry.

But let me tell you, I was the first to realize I was wrong!

Because I later experienced it at work and didn’t even know it was occurring until it had been going on for several months.

It was the best, worst-thing that could have happened to me, to help me better relate to YOU.
